How will the new datastore be discovered by the other ESXi 5.x hosts?

A new LUN has been provisioned to all hosts in a vSphere 5.x cluster. On one host a new VMFS datastore has been created.

How will the new datastore be discovered by the other ESXi 5.x hosts?

A.
A rescan of all host bus adapters is periodically performed by ESXi hosts to detect new VMFS datastores.

B.
New VMFS volumes are automatically added to members of a cluster by vCenter 5.

C.
A manual refresh is required on each ESXi 5.x hosts to discover new VMFS datastores.

D.
A refresh of all host bus adapters is periodically performed by ESXi hosts to detect new VMFS datastores.

I disagree and think the answer is B.

Since ESX4 the process has been the following… on 1 ESX host perform a rescan to discover the new LUN. On that ESX host format the LUN with VMFS. At that point vCenter triggers re-scans on all the remaining ESX hosts in the cluster.

    The answer is B

The VMFS datastore is already created in a host so rescan in other hosts it’s not necessary.

Perform the manual rescan each time you make one of the following changes.

Zone a new disk array on a SAN.
Create new LUNs on a SAN.
Change the path masking on a host.
    Reconnect a cable.
    Change CHAP settings (iSCSI only).
Add or remove discovery or static addresses (iSCSI only).
Add a single host to the vCenter Server after you have edited or removed from the vCenter Server a datastore shared by the vCenter Server hosts and the single host.

This exam is a shame with this kind of question.
The answer is B, but if the administrator have hurry the answer can be C.
The vmware software is great but the certification method cannot be a joke of words or questions with two valid answers.
The confidence of exam has been broken too.
People without any know-how pass with all question over the internet.

Vmware must change the certification method, the candidate must do the configuration at real time at the vcenter and powerCLI script must validate if the configuration asked is successfull or not.

When you create, expand, extent, or delete a datastore, a rescan of your HBAs is automatically initiated. Hence B is the correct answer
