    This is the answer: “Migrate the port group containing the VM from a vNetwork Standard Switch using the migrate virtual Machine Networking option.” rather than “Select the VM from a list of virtual machines using the Migrate virtual networking option.” I have tested this in a lab. The port group is what is migrated.

    A & D. Mastering VMWare vSphere 5 has screen shots (pgs.226-227). You select port groups on the source and destination vSwitches, then it brings up a list of all VMs on the source port group. You select the VMs you want to move. (You can also select “..All VMs not connected to a Port Group…” instead of a source prot group.
