Ahmet Can Aykutsays:
Answer is wrong.Find the sentence in PMBOK v5:”On any network path, the schedule flexibility is measured by the amount of time that a schedule activity can
be delayed or extended from its early start date without delaying the project finish date or violating a schedule
constraint, and is termed “total float.” A CPM critical path is normally characterized by zero total float on the
critical path.”

Anwser is wrong… but correct answer should be A to my opinion.
If you guys keep reading PMBOK after Ahmet’s quote, you read : “As implemented with PDM sequencing, critical paths may have positive, zero, or negative total float depending on constraints applied… [more to read in PMBOK v5]”
Hope it helps,

PMBOK Page 177 – A CPM critical path is normally characterized by zero total float on the
critical path. As implemented with PDM sequencing, critical paths may have positive, zero, or negative total float depending on constraints applied.
Answer is not there in the selection and should be zero total float. And as implemented with PDM sequencing, i would go for A as the answer. just my opinion too.

critical path for the whole project is normally with zero float but it could be with negative total float for accelerated program only…..
