recovery. However it is also the most expensive solution.
Even if the Host site has all of the equipments …. still it has some downtime right ? So in that case why it can’t be “Moderate, high” ? Can you explain ?

its cannot be “moderate, high” simply because when compared to other recovery alternatives, “hot site” has the most minimal down-time and its very costly, in some cases, users hardly notice this down-time as server with applications are fail-over instantly when there is a problem with with equipment and applications……..

I agree that “moderate” is misleading, but so is “instant”. If you want “instant”, you need a redundant site, not a “hot site”.
To quote from Harris: “Hot site A facility that is leased or rented and is fully configured and ready to operate within a few hours. The only missing resources from a hot site are usually the data, which will be retrieved from a backup site, and the people who will be processing the data.”
“A few hours” is NOT “instant”.

The wording on this test is what is bad, as you read the book you seem to get an idea of how bad. I see where people would think that it would be “moderate”, but that is not best case situation, there are hot site that can.
