Please look at page 235 of the book. Credential Management – Credentials allow usernames and passwords to be stored in one location and then used to to access websites and other computers. Newer versions of Windows include Credential Manager to simplify management.

I agree that this is not Credential Management but I also disagree with continuous monitoring. The issue is whether you are keeping your security plan up to date as your network changes. This is a form of change management and sometimes called document management as well. Continuous monitoring usually means running vulnerability scans every week and hiring an outside organization to monitor your traffic for malicious activities. I really believe that change management is more appropriate here.
