All multiple customers do have access to the same Hardware, which means that they must have access to the “whole disk”, hence they have the relevant encryption key to do so.
This means that all users have access to the disk at hardware level
Hence it makes sense to further encrypt files at software level, with only the owners of certain data (folders) having the relevant key to access it.
