One Comment on “Which of the following represents the MOST relevant technical security criteria for the MDM?

  1. Super_Mario says:

A lot of acronyms flying around this question:
    (1) MDM- Mobile device management (MDM) is a type of security software used by an IT department to monitor, manage and secure employees’ mobile devices that are deployed across multiple mobile service providers and across multiple mobile operating systems being used in the organization.
    (2) BYOD- In the consumerization of IT, BYOD, or bring your own device, is a phrase that has become widely adopted to refer to employees who bring their own computing devices – such as smartphones, laptops and tablets – to the workplace for use and connectivity on the secure corporate network.
    (3) APIS – Application programming interface. In computer programming, an application programming interface is a set of subroutine definitions, protocols, and tools for building application software
    (4) AUP – An acceptable use policy (AUP), acceptable usage policy or fair use policy, is a set of rules applied by the owner, creator or administrator of a network, website, or service, that restrict the ways in which the network, website or system may be used and sets guidelines as to how it should be used.
So the MDM must meet the following criteria: camera disablement, password enforcement, and application whitelisting.
So the answer in question must deal with at least one of the elements comprising the main criteria.
B is then left as the only possible answer
