After a new RADIUS server is added to the network, an employee is unable to connect to the
company’s WPA2-Enterprise WIFI network, which is configured to prompt for the employee’s
network username and password. The employee reports receiving an error message after a brief
connection attempt, but is never prompted for credentials. Which of the following issues could be
causing the problem?
A.
The employee’s account is locked out in the directory service
B.
The new RADIUS server is overloading the wireless access point
C.
The new RADIUS server’s certificate is not trusted by the employee’s PC
D.
The employee’s account is disabled in the RADIUS server’s local database
Explanation:
Is it C?

I mean how is it even possible to check if the account is locked, before typing credentials.
I don’t like A.

My thoughts exactly. I picked C too.

Certificate-based authentication is only possible if RADIUS supports EAP. The questions says its on a WPA2-Enterprise.
My guess is A

No boss. Before even show you any page. Server should authenticate itself with CA. So the answer is C

Let’s see the order of things in this very badly written question (yet another one)
1st – It says that the employee receives a message. It does not say what type of message it is.
2nd- The it says that the employee is never ever being prompted for credentials
So with the two above piece of information, let’s eliminate the wrong answers:
A.The employee’s account is locked out in the directory service. How do we know this to be so, being the case that the employee doers not even get to the stage to be prompted for credentials? First the employee would need to enter his credentials and then he would get a message of some sort saying that his credentials are wrong
B. The new RADIUS server is overloading the wireless access point. This answer is so daft to even consider
D. The employee’s account is disabled in the RADIUS server’s local database. Again: How do we know this to be so, being the case that the employee doers not even get to the stage to be prompted for credentials? First the employee would need to enter his credentials and then he would get a message of some sort saying that his credentials are wrong
So the only possible answer is: C. The new RADIUS server’s certificate is not trusted by the employee’s PC.
And this more than likely is the message the employee received: “this certificate is not trusted” or something to this avail.
