Which of the following is the GREATEST security concern of allowing employees to bring in their
personally owned tablets and connecting to the corporate network?

A.
Tablet network connections are stored and accessible from the corporate network
B.
The company’s attack surface increases with the non-corporate devices
C.
Personally purchased media may be available on the network for others to stream
D.
Encrypted tablets are harder to access to determine if they are infected
Wouldn’t it be B?

I really think B makes more Sense.

For any free software, people can download directly from the vendor website (Example: Adobe Reader). There is no need to download from employee’s personal device.
For paid software, people need to pay for it and get a product code. (Example: Microsoft Project). In fact, who is going to share a software that he/she paid few hundred dollars on it?
Choice C does not make sense in reality. I would pick B.

I concur. It is B
Key word: Greatest concern for the corporate network
We are speaking of security threats for the corporation’s NETWORK
Elimination:
A.Tablet network connections are stored and accessible from the corporate network.
This concerns the owner of the tablet. It is not a corporate concern.
Personally purchased media may be available on the network for others to stream
This concerns the owner of the tablet. It is not a corporate concern.
So it is a tossup between B & D
B.The Company’s attack surface increases with the non-corporate devices
D.Encrypted tablets are harder to access to determine if they are infected
Of the two, the GREATEST is B, as B also encompasses D (i.e. an encrypted and infected table increases the surface attack)
