It’s B 8 networks 30 hosts /27. Subnet 248 is a /29 that has 32 networks and 6 hosts.

Correct answer is B. I use a common use IP as an example 192.168.1.1
With subnet mask 255.255.255.224
You get eight subnets
First subnet ID: 192.168.1.0
Second subnet ID: 192.168.1.32
Third subnet ID: 192.168.1.64
Fourth subnet ID: 192.168.1.96
Fifth subnet ID: 192.168.1.128
Sixth subnet ID: 192.168.1.160
Seventh subnet ID: 192.168.1.192
Eighth subnet ID: 192.168.1.224
Don’t forget we need one IP for subnet ID and one IP for broadcast address. So each subnet has 32-2=30 hosts.
