Why it is AES-256? Elliptic curve is intended exactly for mobile devices with restricted processor power. Isn’t it? There is no any statements in Darril’s book which connect mobile devices and AES-256.
Please correct me i I’m wrong.

I agree. I tried looking it up online, and found pretty much equal support for both AES-245 and Elliptic when it refers to mobile tech.
