i think this question is false.no login means “don’t ask password”.if u type no login commmand and try to connect the device, device doesn’t ask u any password except enable pass.

    Answer: No correct answer

    Explanation

There is a mistake in this question because this configuration will let someone telnet to that router without the password (so the line “password c1sco” is not necessary).

If we want to deny telnet we can configure like this:

    Router(config)#line vty 0 4
Router(config-line)#no password (if the password is set before)
    Router(config-line)#login

With this configuration, when someone tries to telnet to this router, a message “Password required, but none set” is displayed.

Yeah this is also a bug on the cisco exam…
I’ve seen answers like : Telnet access is permitted
and that is acceptable because the no login command meens that login is not required. So if u see that on your exam is the right choice….

Do not think about it too much. the answer is A. “no login” means anyone can login limitlessly, allowing anyone to login, even if a password is set. “no login” = no good. That is why the default value of vty is “login”, meaning login is required.
