Can someone explain please? I cannot understand it. If SwitchC going to transmit and the other end is set to half-duplex mode, the data will collide and will received corrupted at Switch A, thus the increased counters. So the first thing will be to set the duplex mode to half-duplex at Switch A to enable CSMA/CD… WTF??? :/ :/

It’s simple, both ends need to have set at full-duplex, otherwise you will get errors like in this case or your connection will go down. In this one since the problem is with the data that you are receiving the problem is with the Switch A , the answer will be letter C.
