You are employed as a network administrator at contoso.com.
contoso.com has a single Active Directory domain named contoso.com.
All servers on the Contoso.com network have Windows Server 2012 R2 installed.
Contoso.com has two servers,named server1 and server2 which are configured in a two-node fail
over cluster.
You are currently configuration the quorum settings for the cluster.
You want to make use of a quorum mode that allows each node to vote if it is available and in
communication.
Which of the following is the mode you should use?

A.
Node Majority
B.
Node and Disk Majority
C.
Node and File Share Majority
D.
No Majority:Disk Only
Explanation:
A)
Allows each node to vote
B)
Allows each node and a disk witness to vote
C)
Allows each node and a File share witness to vote
D)
Allows one node with a specified disk to have quorum

Such a bad question. A , B and C all allow nodes to vote.

There is no information about file share or disk is used as a witness.

I think this is the main topic behind that question:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn265972.aspx#BKMK_Witness
https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/askcore/2016/03/21/behavior-of-dynamic-witness-on-windows-server-2012-r2-failover-clustering-3/
as far as I understand this it means that just configuring node majority in this question’s scenario will automatically add a quorum witness, which enables the cluster resource to remain available in case one of the two node fails…

I’m going to vote for answer B here – Node and Disk Majority.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770830(v=ws.10).aspx#BKMK_local_two
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770830(v=ws.10).aspx#BKMK_even
Both A & B nodes can vote if they are available and in communication.
And eventhough we are not asked “what is the best solution” or “recomemnded” … From MS perspective Node Majority is recommended for clusters with an odd number of nodes –> here we are having an even number (2 nodes)

I would have to go with answer B as well.
If we chose A, a failure of either server would result in a stoppage of the Cluster, which basically means you doubled your hardware for absolutely no reason and you do not in any way have high availability. A quorum drive being available is part of the pre-requisite check for the Cluster setup.
