    Given answer is INCORRECT.

The file is created on DC1. DC1 is member of the contoso.com domain as well as DC2 and DC3. So The file is stored on DC3 (as well as DC1 and DC2).

The user is created on DC4. DC4 is member of the NA.contoso.com domain as well as DC5 and DC6. So the user is stored on DC4, DC5, DC6 AND DC1 and DC2(as these are a Global Catalog). But as DC1 and DC2 are not a given choise, we need to select DC4, DC5 and DC6.

      Correct.

As a side note, DC4 should probably be made into a GC.

By the way, GCs do not hold copies of objects from whole forest. They hold and replicate ONLY some properties from the objects that are not from their domain.
