    Also, the DHCP packets are sent only to Server2 – so Site2 objects will not receive DHCP configurations unless the packets are routed to them … from Server2. Server2 needs routing protocol. Server2 is connected to Server1 and will receive DHCP config automatically.

    Agreed, Create new scope on server 1, add remote access role on Server2 which then allows you to create a new routing protocol called DHCP Relay on Server2 which you point to Server1 – then clients will get their IPs from Server1 across the WAN.

    I would say:

    Server1: Create a new scope AND install the Remote Access Server Role
    Server2: Add a routing procotol

    There is another question in this exam which says ‘you need to configure your DHCP Server, Server1 as a DHCP Relay Agent. Which Server role should you install’ – to which the answer is ‘Remote Access’
