answer is correct as is. new hardware would be needed on both server 1 and server 2 and an upgrad would be needed on server 3.

I think answer Is not correct already server 1 and 2 are 86X OS not processor
that is mean we can make clean installation in same hardware also server3 is windows 2008 r2 without SP it can not be upgrade to windows 2012 direct .

Question needs to be updated/edited from Windows 8 to Windows Server 2012 R2. The answer Srv1 and Srv2 – clean install on new hardware, Srv3 – upgrade on existing hardware
