I’ve been searching for information about this question for about 3 hours already, i even tried to do it in a lab.

And it looks like there is no “Complete Right Answer” in this question.

First of all the option that defines a separate folder for each user is called “Specify the structure for user folders ” and is located in the 3rd page of the New Sync Share Wizard in Work Folders.

The problem here is that once you create this Sync Share, the is no option to change the option mentioned in this question. So let’s dive into the answers, but before lets mention that the PowerShell parameter for this option is called “UserFolderName” and its found in Get-SyncShare “NameOfTheShare”.

    A. It has to be a joke.

    B. There is no UserFolderName in this cmdlet, and this would change the whole server setting, not a specific Sync Share.

    C. This is the closest of a “Right Answer”. Because the only way we have to SET (Looks like there is no way to CHANGE) this is by CREATING a new Sync Share. So i wouldn’t say “Modify the properties”, i would say “Delete and recreate Sync1”.

    D. Same as B. This only sets the Users/Groups assigned to this Sync Share.

I think it is C also, but you know Microsoft they are focused on specific “Microsoft best answers” If there is a command way of doing it then I would choose that method. Even though D is not the complete command line, it is the start, and after entering Set-SyncShare, then next step is to type in the name of the name of the share. Thoughts?
