      To J: so following your logic, in a “secure” environment port binding is not required 😉
      Certainly port binding is a prerequisite and must be done prior to any further configuration, including authentication.
      The key to a correct answer seems to be that the administrator has **ALREADY** “configured discovery and performed rescan operation”, i.e. port binding has been already done.
