    A is correct

    ISIS authentication:

Junos allows a per level authentication and a per PDU authentication. The ISIS authentication uses a TLV (TLV 10) to conveys either a Simple Password in plain-text or a digest message (HMAC MD5). When the TLV is present within a PDU: IIH, CSNP, PSNP, LSP a router has to check the simple password or the message integrity (with the HMAC) before it takes into account the PDU.
