This answer is simply wrong. Starting on the left, the Sales PCs would not terminate in a server! Rather the 2 PCs and a Server would be in 3 of the 4 boxes on the extreme left. They should terminate into an L2 switch. The L2 switch is a part of VLAN 12 and should terminate on a router. VLAN 12 would be configured on the router ethernet port, and finally to the T1. The router could be an L3 switch instead, but it’s a single VLAN, so a router with ethernet and a WAN connection makes more sense. On the right side of the diagram, the T1 would again terminate on a router. That router would terminate on a L3 switch due to multiple VLANs (L3). Not an ideal scenario since the L3 switch could terminate the T1, the router really isn’t needed. But seems to be the best option to fill that particular box. The HR Server has to reside on VLAN 22 per the instructions, so it is on top on VLAN 22 correct on the diagram. But where are the required HR PCs? They must go to the right, so 2 HR PCs off VLAN 22 as well to the right correct on the diagram. Finally, the remaining VLAN 2 for Finance goes toward the bottom of the diagram and should support the Finance Server and 2 Finance PCs correct on the diagram. The L3 switch, again, would support multiple VLANs for Finance and HR (VLANs 2 and 22). KNOW THE WHYS and you’ll do great on the exam.
