1) create a new version of the standard vDisk
2) configure a machine to run under this new version
3) make the necessary modifications and test them
4) promote to production
5) reboot all pooled desktops so the new vDisk version is picked up (or shut them down first if you want to merge with the base disk)
Therefore: A – update vDisk and B – promote to production
C is not correct because the disk must be standard for pooling purposes. You cannot pool a private disk.
D is not necessary, you can simply reboot the machines in order for the new settings to apply.

Why do think it is PVS? I think it is MCS.
If it PVS, dskyo is right. However, as dskyo says: “A – update vDisk”, but A is about the vDisk Inventory, not the vDisk itself. Inventory of the vDisk is part of MCS update procedure.
Promote to Production is no step in MCS.
