    When you install Citrix Director it will ask you at some point to link to a delivery controller. If you have two delivery controllers, for example, that are part of the same site, you only need to add one in Citrix Director to manage the entire site. If you want to be able to manage more sites, you would need to add one delivery controller from each site. – D
