A is the cleanest and most correct way to do this.
You can also do it manually… (create a new device and make it boot from the vDisk, add the MAC address to the Device Collection, browse the respective Machine Catalog and add the new machine, then add it to the Delivery Group) but there’s no point when you can do it with 2-3 clicks from the PVS console directly. (right click on the name of your site and select XenDesktop setup wizard)
