    Multipoint – Router can use the physical interface to connect to many routers all in the same subnet.

    – point to point frame relay interfaces need seperate subnets
    – in multipoint many routers can be connected over single interface/sub -interface

    IP address can be conserved if VLSM is not being used for subnetting.
