    Yeah I believe B is the correct answer, zone delegation is more for dividing up a larger zone. Here they created two zones and ask “ensure that Server1 forwards all queries for ad.contoso.com to Server2” This can be done by creating a conditional forwarder.

    Because contoso.com already exists on server1, a conditional forwarder will not work as server1 has the ability to provide an authorative answer to things in the contoso.com domain. Forwarders only come into play when the zone is not hosted locally!!! In this case, delegation is neccessary to tell server 1 to ignore the requests for ad.contoso.com and pass them on to server2.”
