Delta Synchronisation – transfers changes in the kernel tables between cluster members. Delta sync is handled by the firewall kernel, using UDP multicast or broadcast on port 8116

Synchronization works in two modes:
Full sync transfers all Security Gateway kernel table information from one cluster member to another. It is handled by the fwd daemon using an encrypted TCP connection.
Delta sync transfers changes in the kernel tables between cluster members. Delta sync is handled by the Security Gateway kernel using UDP multicast or broadcast on port 8116.

What a trick question:
since fwd transfers all firewall kernel table info and fw kernel transfers changes in the kernel tables then both answers should be correct. If there is just one answer I would go for D.

Yeah, tricky. It’s just a matter of semantics I think, sharing = sending = full, it’s not updating = delta

Make sense, yeah quite trick, but as for me i’d go for B since it mentions “sharing”
the actual transfering of info is done by the FWD. Simple analogy, the ‘fw kernel’ is encapsulated by ‘fwd’
So i’d go for FWD
