This question is really bad. To begin with, a prefix may not contain underscores, therefore, the premise of the question is wrong. The question claims it was created, but it could not have been created. In fact, if you attempt to create a prefix with underscore, you’ll get an error.

Lets suppose whomever wrote the question intended to use dashes instead of underscores. If I have a group default prefix of “infra-server-” yet my objects in my blueprint are set to use a prefix of “IT”, the blue print wins. In fact, you must set what prefix you want to use in the blue print – do you want to use the group default? Or pick a prefix? There is no guess work.

Option A – You don’t have to be a member of the business group manager in order to request a catalog item nor to receive a prefix
Option B – the question says the IT business group DOES have a prefix assigned. It is possible the prefix was created but then it was never assigned to the business group. I suppose that is a possibility.
Option C – you do not assign prefixes to endpoints
Option D – you do not enable a prefix. You make it. You assign it.

So, what is the correct answer to this horrible question? “B”, because… why not?
