   Look at General Rules and Considerations for Nesting Blueprints, first bullet, “As a best practice to minimize blueprint complexity, limit blueprints to three levels deep, with the top-level blueprint serving as one of the three levels.” A question that often comes up: is this asking about a best practice? Or the actual maximum of layers you can make? I made a seven layer blue print, published it into a catalog and it ran just fine. That means the question isn’t about the true maximum. The question uses the word “Should”, which further indicates that it wants the best practice number. Therefore, the answer is 3
