  1. Chuck says:

The correct answer is C. Priority is considered first before the router-ID. Router-ID is considered only when there is a tie in priority. So with a priority of 255 ge-0/0/1 is the DR.

The correct answer is D (DRother)

    Explanation:
If it’s a DR or BDR, it would be established in full state with all of its neigbors but the output shows that it has 2way state with one of its neighbors. So it’s neither DR nor BDR.

The output shows that it’s in full state with (1.1.1.1) which is the DR (the highest priority 255), another Full state with (1.1.1.2) which is the BDR, and 2way state with (1.1.1.3) which is DRother.

I have made a lab and this is the output which shows that it has DRother state.

    root> show ospf neighbor
Address Interface State ID Pri Dead
    172.25.0.2 em2.0 Full 1.1.1.2 254 39
    172.25.0.1 em2.0 Full 1.1.1.1 255 32
    172.25.0.3 em2.0 2Way 1.1.1.3 128 31

    root> show ospf interface
