You want to save adjacency formation time between two routers participating in OSPF, as well as reduce the size of the OSPF link-state database.
How would you accomplish these tasks?

A.
Configure a virtual link.
B.
Specify a designated router.
C.
Specify a backup designated router.
D.
Define a point-to-point connection.
I don’t like the way this question is set.
answer B….
How would specifiying a DR reduce the size of the link state database? It merely reduces flooding of LSAs and loading to the routers
Answer D seems closer as in a point to point link you avoid overhead for DR / BDR election.
But if the topology only involve two routers, the size of the link state database is gonna be the same be it p2p or not
