That being said, components of IIS will be installed, when you install the Online Responder Role……so could really be any server that is accessible by the workgroup computers. As such any server could be used, but installing IIS on a DC is a big no no, and an easy assumption to make is that the workgroup computers are not on the local private network (Servers 1 & 2).
