    I’d go here for answer C.
    One of the reasons is, we are instruceted to:
    “You also have to make sure that application data is replicated to ABCAppData via DFS replication.”
    As seen from the above link, DFS replication for SOFS requires NTFS permission on file management – this is not the case for General Use File Server Cluster.

    Any comments/suggestions?

    I also agree that C is the correct answer. Another reason why is that Scale Out File Servers do not support DFS Replication which the question states thats what form of replication must occur.

    All the answers seem wrong to me, since you do not need Failover Clustering for DFS replication of Namespace or share or high availability.

    If I had to pick an answer, I would go with C (which is referencing a cluster role).
