    VM3 – export and import
    VM6 – live migration

    Storage Migration it moves only the VM storage – Virtual hard disk to another location.
    Live migration requires same processor manufacturers
    Quick migration has downtime, Quick Migration involves a pause of your VM.

    If processors are different, but from same manufacturer, you can use Processor Compatibility Mode to Migrate Virtual

    when choosing live migration you are giving the option to select migrate both the virtual machine and its storage
