    Answer is A. Already mentioned in the question that back with -nonstop and restarted but failed , -nonstop is nothing but just to not stop the server. The question is how to prevent and it is to use RepositoryCheckpointCommands createFullCheckpoint (t saved images of the repository before configuration changes ) and restoreFullCheckPoints (restore the configuration repository back to a prior state).
