I concur. AADC can rationalize the accounts and associated attributes for the ERF config and from there its up to the Exch hybrid configuration to rationalize mailboxes and shuttle data.

Both AAD sync and DirSync have been replace by Azure AD Connect (EOL was in April).
If this question is updated, it will be called Azure AD Connect.
