      No. If you create a security group you will see that you have a single option: to join the group.

      It does not say anything about leaving a security group (with or without permission).

    GroupA is Exchange Online Distribution Group (It can be configured in order for user to be able to join or leave the group without administrator approval)
    Group2 is Exchange Online Security Group (Groups of that type are visible in both Office 365 Groups and Exchange Online Recipients -> Groups. It also have an email address associated)
