Just did the exam and passed. Lot of questions from here, but also use vcpstudyguide.com (few extra questions there) and gratisexam.com has the “non-D” 2V0-621 pdf file with 218 questions. Then there’s ccsequestions.com that has also got some questions that are not on vcpstudyguide or the pdf.

Take time to understand the questions, some answers here and the other sources are wrong. If you take the vmware test exam on the mylearn site, you’ll see a few questions found here as well. They won’t be on the test. I did not see any questions other than what I found online. If you have the resources, build a lab in vmware workstation to try out some stuff if you’re not sure. Other than that, you should be fine.

Good luck, and thanks AIOTestking for providing such a valuable service.

Pretty sure the answer is Global, vSphere.local and ESXi local. The last one is not listed here, but if you follow the URL from the first response you will see this answer.

    vCenter Server Permissions:
The permission model for vCenter Server systems relies on assigning permissions to objects in the object hierarchy of that vCenter Server. Each permission gives one user or group a set of privileges, that is, a role for a selected object.

    Global Permissions:
Global permissions are applied to a global root object that spans solutions. For example, if both vCenter Server and vCenter Orchestrator are installed, you can give permissions to all objects in both object hierarchies using global permissions.

    Group Membership in vsphere.local Groups:
The user administrator@vsphere.local can perform tasks that are associated with services included with the Platform Services Controller.

    ESXi Local Host Permissions:
If you are managing a standalone ESXi host that is not managed by a vCenter Server system, you can assign one of the predefined roles to users

    I passed yesterday.

There were all the questions from here and 5 new easy question.

On the questions where that we had disagreements on, for the dns questions
“What are two ways to view the DNS settings for an ESXi 6.x host?” I picked B,C.

For the question “An administrator is attempting to enable Fault Tolerance on a virtual machine with 4 vCPUs and observes the following in the vSphere Web Client: Fault Tolerance has not been licensed on host . What is the minimum licensed edition that supports this configuration?”
I picked answer B, enterprise plus.

    Good luck and thanks everyone.
