You have a server named Server1 that runs Windows Server 2012 R2.
Server1 has following storage spaces:
Data
Users
Backups
Primordial
You add an additional hard disk to Server1.
You need to identify which storage space contains the new hard disk.
Which storage space contains the new disk?

A.
Primordial
B.
Data
C.
Users
D.
Backups
This question do not make any sense , why primordial ?

Johon,
I believe this is because the primordial storage space is all the unallocated space and if you just added the drive this is where it would be located.

Correct. All disks added to machine are in Primordial until they´re used in some pool or there´s volume created on them.

I tried this by adding 1 disk, after bringing the disk online, Primordial becomes the name of the new disk on Storage Pool
Storage Pool:
Name Type
Primordial Available Disk

Storage Pool:
Name – Primordial
Type – Available Disk
