For this question I have a conflicting answer.
Now Upon reading I know that you have
The Routing Engine on the Control Plane
The Packet Forwarding Engine on the Forwarding Plane
The PFE holds its own copy of the Routing table so it does not have to constantly request updates from the RE.
On the Demo of the Test king test It Says that B is the correct answer.
Yet here it says A it the right answer.
I would be more inclined to say that B or more correct. Since Even in the book it states that the PFE holds its own local copy of the Routing Table.

I think what you meant was that PFE has a copy of Forwarding Table, not Routing Table. So answer is perfectly A.

Dear All,
Routing tables in Juniper Network Routers use a distinct terminology that might vary from other vendors like Cisco and other giants.
The Routing table in Juniper Networks Routers or Junos is total amount of information known by that router. here I mean that if a route is learned by more then one means by same protocols then all the entries of that particular route is populated in the routing table. Though we all know that routing protocols places the best route to the destination in the routing table but if in case for a valid prefix is learned by more then one way then there will be multiple entries exists for the same prefix along with the configured routes (Static or aggregate).
As multiple entries exists in the routing table, now its routing table to make decision for single best route for one prefix which is known as active route. This active route is placed in a different table which is known as forwarding table.
In short we can say that in Routing table we can have different routes or multiple route for same prefix but in forwarding table we have only one best/active route for the prefix or network.
