    1. DVS says:

DWDM is used in fiber optic cables. It essentially uses difference lights that operate at different wavelengths on a single piece of media. These different lights allow data from multiple sources to be placed in a single fiber optic cable.

Tempest is used by US agencies where data is on the more “sensitive” nature. I’m talking about the CIA, NSA and NATO. Depending who you ask some people say its a like more like a concept/standard or a physical device. The book I used to study this said it was a special kind of wall the doesn’t allow wifi signal to bleed through, however, researching more about it i’m swaying more that tempest is used more as a concept to ensure wifi/radio signal are not bleeding through or being captured.

  1. Joe says:

Fiber is immune to signal blead, but it says he needs to protect new systems for electronic snooping of RF, which means the devices he has aren’t fiber.

Tempest covers methods of spying through electronic signals, sounds or vibrations, and also covers ways to protect equipment from such spying

  2. SDG says:

TEMPEST is a National Security Agency specification and NATO certification referring to spying on information systems through leaking emanations, including unintentional radio or electrical signals, sounds, and vibrations. TEMPEST covers both methods to spy upon others and also how to shield equipment against such spying.
