    the question does not mention the version of XD but while this is an exam for XD 7 answer C is wrong. Citrix Machine Identity Service was for XD 5.x and not for XD 7.x. The correct answer is B. MCS requires ans will enforce use of DHCP. If you can’t use DHCP then you can’t use MCS to provision machines and will have to create them manually.

      you won’t be able to use any of the machine provisioning mechanisms that XenDesktop provides. Provisioning Services and Machine Creation Services both rely on having dhcp to allocate unique ip addresses for the machines. So, you’ll have to create the machines yourself and assign them static addresses and then import them into the appropriate catalog type.
