The policy is flexible and allows either a uniform number of links or a mixed number of links per chassis. The recommended configurations is to set the chassis discovery policy to the lowest number of IOM links allowed on any chassis

    The discovery policy allows the setting of a link grouping policy which can be set to create a Port Channel between the fabric interconnect and the IOM modules of the chassis
