      It’s D because B only lets you specify whether you want to do single or multi-AZ deploy. It’s a worthless question because who cares what page it is on. You have to specify the AZ. Who cares about the page names in the provisioning dialogue.

      Now just because it is a worthless question does not mean it won’t be on the test.

    I tried this out on the free tier and the prompt for AZ was in the Network & Security section of the Configure Advanced Settings page.
    Interestingly enough, if you set a multi-AZ instance, the AZ dropdown menu is greyed out and you do not get to pick the two AZ for your primary and secondary.

    D Additional Configuration
    DB Instance detail- You just enable that your DB instance can be deploy in Multi-AZ. However, You select the availability zone (Which AZ will be for primary and which one will be for secondary) in Additional configuration.

    Just review it in the AWS management console

    The following all the parameters available in the INstance details page:

    DB Engine
    License Model
    DB Engine Version
    DB Instance Class
    Multi-AZ Deployment
    Storage Type
    Allocated Storage*

    you have only:

    Specify the DB Details that could be = to DB INSTANCE DETAILS but here you cannot select the AZ to use.

    and

    Configure Advanced Settings that could be = ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION and here you can select the AZ if multi-az is not selected.

    I would say D but the ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION is not present in the console
