You are configuring HP Integrity Virtual Machines on an HP Inegrity BL8x0c i2 blade server
system based on the Intel Itanium processor 9300 series. You plan to use the default 10 Gb
Ethernet adapters with jumbo frame support. Which memory sizing rule must be used for the HPUX guest OS?

A.
The memory required for the 10 GbE adapter is not enough to require consideration
B.
Use the maximum I/O per second multiplied by the total virtual machine memory allocated
C.
Minimum memory size is based on CPU allocations
D.
Add an additional 1 GB of memory per 10 GbE networks port

For most Integrity systems, the memory required for I/O adopters is negligible. One exception is
the HP Integrity BL8x0c i2 Server Blade system – based on the Intel Itanium processor 9300
series. The l0GbE (10GigE) network ports on BL8x0c i2 server blades require an additional
500MB of memory per 10GbE network port when they are configured for Flex 10 or jumbo frames.
If these ports have both Flex 10 and jumbo frames enabled, then the additional memory
requirement is 1GB per 10GbE network port. Refer to latest memory subsystem documentation for
changes to these requirements.
