New virtual Connect Flex-10 modules are installed in an HP BladeSystem c3000 chassis. While
creating the profiles and assigning them to networks, two profile assignments fail. The error output
is shown on the screenshot:
What might cause this problem?

A.
The version of Virtual Connect Enterprise manager (VCEM) is out of sync with the Virtual
Connect module firmware.
B.
The iLO modules are not configured correctly.
C.
The two servers that failed were powered on while the profiles were being created.
D.
A Firefox browser is being used: Virtual Connect management is only supported by Internet
Explorer v6 or earlier.

The following message may be displayed in an HP Virtual Connect Version 1.10 environment
when attempting to create multiple server profiles and assign them to server bays using the Server
Profile Wizard feature when server(s) are powered on:
Server Profile Creation FAILED
This message is misleading if the server is powered on and HP pre-defined MAC Addresses are
configured because the profiles are created. However, the profiles are not properly assigned to the
server bays that contain servers that are powered on. The profiles that are not properly assigned
can be found in the “Unassigned Profiles” list in the left navigation frame on the Virtual Connect
Manager home page.
The error message should state that the Profile was created but not assigned due to a server
being powered on.
