An administrator is attempting to troubleshoot a routing issue between the Edge Services Gateway (ESG) and
the Distributed Logical Router (DLR).
Based on the exhibit, which method CANNOT be used to troubleshoot the issue?
A.
SSH session into 192.168.100.3 on the ESG.
B.
Console session into the ESG.
C.
Console session into the DLR.
D.
SSH session into 192.168.10.5 on the DLR.
Shouldn’t be D ?

It’s A or D but surely it depends on where the administrators computer is located.
Depends where you think the administrator is accessing from – if he’s outside the perimeter the answer is D and if he’s inside then the answer is A. Badly worded question.

i think the answer is D, because wherever the admin computer are, you can only SSH to the DLR protocol address which is the DLR control VM address, you cannot SSH to the DLR forward address.

If there is a routing issue between the DLR and ESG you might not be able to reach the DLR via SSH. Leaves only B as a possible option you cannot use

Administrator can access all VMs using console session via management network. Diagram suggests that a) routing is not working b) there are VMs connected to DLR and c) there are no VMs beyond ESG in diagram.
so Administrator can SSH to DLR, but not ESG.
Answer should be A

AS per the question there is routing issue between the Edge Services Gateway (ESG) and the Distributed Logical Router (DLR) but not between Distributed Logical Router (DLR) and Edge Services Gateway (ESG). VM are connected to DLR and east – west routing is fine but north south routing between Edge Services Gateway (ESG) and the Distributed Logical Router (DLR) is bad so SSH session into 192.168.100.3 on the ESG cannot happen. So A is correct answer.

You cannot ssh to a LIF as it is distributed across hosts. if you need to SSH to the DLR you need to SSH into the PROTOCOL address and NOT the FORWARDING address!
Answer is D
