    Hyper-V Offloaded Data Transfer requires the following:
    – Offloaded Data Transfer–capable hardware to host the virtual hard disk files. The hardware needs to be connected to the virtual machine as virtual SCSI devices or directly attached physical disks (sometimes referred to as pass-through disks).
    – This optimization is also supported for natively attached, VHDX-based virtual disks.
    – VHD-based or VHDX-based virtual disks attached to a virtual IDE controller do not support this optimization because integrated development environment (IDE) devices lack support for Offloaded Data Transfer.

      Agreed, the correct answers are “a disk that uses the VHDX file format that is attached to a SCSI controller” and “STORAGE2”, but the reason which you give for “STORAGE2” being the correct answer is wrong, as shared storage has nothing to do with this question.

      “STORAGE1” cannot be used due to the BitLocker Drive Encryption. “SMBSHARE1” cannot be used, as storage must be connected using iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet or Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). “STORAGE2” however is connected using Fibre Channel and is therefore the correct answer.
