No, B is correct. it’s a warning described in the VDP manual that the password cannot contain spaces

A&D is correct answer because if the user is connected in active directory domain then password can’t contain space.

Refer Page 24 in https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/vmware-data-protection-administration-guide-61.pdf
User Account Configuration
Before the vCenter user account can be used with VDP, or before the SSO admin user can be used with VDP,
you must add these users as administrator on the vCenter root node. Users who inherit permissions from
group roles are not valid.

So we go for A and D.
A because we need Administrator role and D because group role is not valid.

Hmmm agreed.
however they do state “NOTE In high-security environments, you can restrict the vCenter user account permissions required to
configure and administer the VDP appliance” and setting up individual rights with using th default role “administrator” which makes A False (Since it’s not %100 necesarry to use the “Administrator Role”)
My native language isn’t English. so I might interprit it wrong.
Your document is the one i read aswell. at the bottom of page 25 it does say “IMPORTANT The domain account password cannot contain spaces. ”
but that only applies if you use a domain account. that isnt necessary as you can use a SSO account aswell.
So i’m confused…
would probably go for B and D

I am scheduled to get this exam very soon and this dump looks to be old and some comments in other sites tend to tell this is out-dated. Any update ?

I think A is not good: “The user account must be assigned with Administrator role.” Roles are not working for the VDA, right?
B is okay, because so says the manual 🙂
And also D is right: “The user account cannot inherit required permissions from a group role. ” The manual says: “Users who inherit permissions from
group roles are not valid. ”

True, A&B
For the vCenter server account used for vSphere data protection, the user account must have administrator
role and the password for the user account should not contain spaces.
