The correct answer is D. This is easy to see: go to infrastructure-admin-machine prefixes and make two prefixes. Go to design-blueprint and make a new blueprint. Drop two vsphere (vCenter) machines on the canvas and go to the properties of each and set the Machine Prefix differently for each one. Do some quick configs on the objects, Publish the blueprint, entitle it, put it in a catalog – it will run just fine.
A is incorrect because you don’t have to use the group default. You can, but you are not required to
B is incorrect because prefix isn’t a blue print property. Open a blue print, click on the gear at the top of the blue print, and flip through the tabs. You won’t find a prefix field.
For C, you can add a custom property to a blue print, but that property isn’t going to be the prefix. That isn’t how the prefix gets set.
